Wine of Colchagua

In the vicinity of the city of Santa Cruz, the valley of Colchagua is the most dynamic of the country in terms of oenological tourism. Several climatic factors are favorable for the vineyard: the strong temperature difference between day and night, and the warm climate that does not cool through the coastal cordillera which blocks the winds from the Pacific. It is a perfect climate for intense wines such as syrah and carménère.
