Italian Wine

Viticulture in Italy goes back to the earliest Antiquity. The Romans and before them the Etruscans cultivated the vineyard. The Greeks had given the territory the nickname of Œnotria meaning the land of wine (a name more specific to Calabria, then a Greek colony). The vineyard extends in all the Italian regions of Veneto to Sicily. Italy is today, according to the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), the world leader in wine production with a total of 44.9 million hectoliters exported in 2013.

Wine of Emilie Romagne

Emilia Romagna, as its composite name reveals, is made up of two distinct sectors that more or less meet the capital, Bologna. To the west is Emilia, to the east of Bologna is Romagna. The wines of Emilia Romagna can be considered as the least conventional of those of the north, different in all points from those of its neighbors, d A rather complacent but always individualistic style.

ALBANA DI ROMAGA

Albana is not only one of the great indigenous grape varieties of Romagna , is also a source of great joy for those who have a passion for dessert wines . And we like good Romagna we love it. Our Albana raisin wine comes only in vintages from perfect condition, with the best grapes left to wither on the vine and then harvested when they were attacked by botrytis.

Wine of Campanie

In ancient times, the Romans worshiped "Campania Felix" as the best of the wine regions. They loved the vineyards along the coast of Naples where the Falernian was produced, the most sought-after wine of the Empire. They also enjoyed the vineyards of Vesuvius and the wooded hills of Avellino. Previously, the Greeks had recognized the privileged nature of the place, introducing varieties that still exist today such as Aglianico, Greco and Falanghina.
